People with high Lp(a) have a higher risk for heart disease. The main purpose of the study is to investigate how lepodisiran, compared to a placebo, affects the amount and type of plaque in the heart's vessels using an imaging technology known as Coronary Computed Tomography Angiography (CCTA) in adults who have high levels of Lp(a). Participation will last about 120 weeks.","abstract_license":"ClinicalTrials.gov (U.S. National Library of Medicine), data processed 2026-10-29T09:00:05; modifications: selected fields only; whitespace normalized; brief summary truncated to 2,000 characters","license":"ClinicalTrials.gov terms (attribution, processing date, modifications noted)","is_open_access":true,"peer_reviewed":null,"categories":["Atherosclerosis","Cardiovascular Diseases","Lipoprotein(a)"],"details":{"acronym":"ACCLAIM-CTA","status":"RECRUITING","phase":"PHASE3","study_type":"INTERVENTIONAL","enrollment":252,"sponsor":"Eli Lilly and Company","conditions":["Atherosclerosis","Cardiovascular Diseases","Lipoprotein(a)"],"interventions":["DRUG: Lepodisiran","DRUG: Placebo"],"start_date":"2026-06-01","start_date_type":"ACTUAL","primary_completion_date":"2029-12-01","has_results":false,"data_source":"ClinicalTrials.gov","data_processed":"2026-10-29T09:00:05","modifications":"selected fields only; whitespace normalized; brief summary truncated to 2,000 characters"},"provenance":"clinicaltrials","attribution":"Source: ClinicalTrials.gov (U.S. National Library of Medicine), data processed 2026-10-29T09:00:05; modifications: selected fields only; whitespace normalized; brief summary truncated to 2,000 characters.
