The main questions it aims to answer are: * What proportion of participants achieve a complete pathological response after treatment? * How durable is the response at 12 months? * What effect does the treatment have on metabolic outcomes (weight, BMI, HbA1c) and quality of life? Participants will: * Receive an LNG-IUD * Receive semaglutide 2.4mg * Participate in a structured weight loss program * Undergo hysteroscopy with endometrial sampling to assess treatment response * Complete quality-of-life assessments at baseline, 6 months, and 12 months","abstract_license":"ClinicalTrials.gov (U.S. National Library of Medicine), data processed 2026-10-29T09:00:05; modifications: selected fields only; whitespace normalized; brief summary truncated to 2,000 characters","license":"ClinicalTrials.gov terms (attribution, processing date, modifications noted)","is_open_access":true,"retracted":false,"peer_reviewed":null,"categories":["Endometrial Atypical Hyperplasia","Endometrial Atypical Hyperplasia/Endometrioid Intraepithelial Neoplasia","Endometrial Cancer Stage I","Endometrial Cancer","Fertility-Sparing Treatment (FST)","Obesity & Overweight"],"details":{"acronym":"SWIFT","status":"NOT_YET_RECRUITING","phase":"PHASE2","study_type":"INTERVENTIONAL","enrollment":48,"sponsor":"The Methodist Hospital Research Institute","conditions":["Endometrial Atypical Hyperplasia","Endometrial Atypical Hyperplasia/Endometrioid Intraepithelial Neoplasia","Endometrial Cancer Stage I","Endometrial Cancer","Fertility-Sparing Treatment (FST)","Obesity & Overweight"],"interventions":["DRUG: Semaglutide (Wegovy) weekly injection","DEVICE: LNG-IUD (Progestin)","BEHAVIORAL: Structured Weight Loss Program"],"start_date":"2027-01-01","start_date_type":"ESTIMATED","primary_completion_date":"2028-12-31","has_results":false,"data_source":"ClinicalTrials.gov","data_processed":"2026-10-29T09:00:05","modifications":"selected fields only; whitespace normalized; brief summary truncated to 2,000 characters"},"provenance":"clinicaltrials","attribution":"Source: ClinicalTrials.gov (U.S. National Library of Medicine), data processed 2026-10-29T09:00:05; modifications: selected fields only; whitespace normalized; brief summary truncated to 2,000 characters.
