## Abstract

This work proposes a staged, explicitly falsifiable experimental framework centered on the concept of “energy elasticity,” defined as a dimensionless parameter comparing modulation timescale to intrinsic relaxation dynamics in driven resonant systems. The central question addressed is whether sufficiently rapid modulation relative to relaxation time can produce measurable deviations in effective dissipation, without violating established physical laws. The framework is intentionally conservative and does not claim thermodynamic violation, self-sustaining operation, vacuum-energy extraction, or room-temperature superconductivity. A dimensionless control parameter, E = f\_mod · τ\_relax, is introduced to organize the experimental regime. The paper defines a strict null hypothesis consistent with conventional resonator physics and outlines observable quantities including quality factor (Q), impedance response, phase lag, ringdown time, linewidth, and thermal dissipation. A phenomenological scaling ansatz is provided to guide data analysis, along with quantitative order-of-magnitude estimates and projected signal sensitivity thresholds. These projections are explicitly framed as experimental targets rather than theoretical predictions or simulation results. The research program is structured in two stages:(1) Stage I: precision testing in conventional high-Q resonators under controlled modulation conditions,(2) Stage II: conditional exploration of boundary-sensitive architectures incorporating nanogap structures, following successful validation of Stage I results. The work emphasizes rigorous measurement protocols, full energy accounting, and systematic exclusion of conventional explanations including parametric amplification, nonlinear effects, impedance mismatch, thermal drift, and instrumentation artifacts. This publication represents a pre-experimental research proposal and falsifiable framework intended to guide experimental investigation. A null result constrains the hypothesis, while a reproducible positive result would motivate further study of non-equilibrium driven systems and time-scale-dependent dissipation mechanisms. Future versions will incorporate simulation studies and experimental results.
